Former Fianna Fail senator Willie Farrell is the new president of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers (IPAV).

Former Fianna Fail senator Willie Farrell is the new president of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers (IPAV).

A native of Grange, Co Sligo, he is a former auctioneer and was a member of Seanad Eireann for 18 years. In his address to the annual convention in Sligo, Farrell welcomed the review body on all aspects of auctioneering established by Minister for Justice Michael McDowell.
