After months of uncertainty, staff at computer-maker Dell, including its 4,500 Irish employees, are getting used to life under their new ‘‘old’’ boss, Michael Dell.

After months of uncertainty, staff at computer-maker Dell, including its 4,500 Irish employees, are getting used to life under their new ‘‘old’’ boss, Michael Dell.

Dell founded the company in 1984, but stepped down as chief executive in 2004, ceding the top spot to former consultant Kevin Rollins.

Ten days ago, however, Dell was reappointed chief executive after Rollins resigned following a series of poor results and an accounting probe.
