Klaus Regling and others don’t seem to grasp that our interest in property wasn’t just a boom-time phenomenon
It was with a raised eyebrow that Property Plus greeted Klaus Regling's comments at the banking inquiry last week. Like a chiding parent, the German chief executive of the newly formed European Financial Stability Facility told the inquiry that Irish people had a ‘national obsession’ with the acquisition of property during the boom years while he was a serving European Central Bank economist.
