Cider owner C&C is expected to announced that sales in the US have been slower than expected when results are announced on Wednesday.

The full-year results for the year to February 2013 will include the performance of Vermont Hard Cider, which C&C acquired for $305 million in October. In 2011, the category had reported growth of around 20 per cent in the US, and 57 per cent in the first half of 2012.
