Dublin is to host the 100th Red Bull Flugtag which is due to get under way at Dun Laoghaire’s East Pier today.

More than 40,000 people are expected to watch as up to 40 teams try to make their flying machines – most of which take around 1,000 hours to build – take off across the harbour.
