Flooding hits roads across Dublin and Cork
The Garda press office has issued warnings about severe flooding in a number of areas around Dublin.
Severe flooding is impacting a number of areas around Dublin and in Cork City.
The flooding in some areas is reported to have eased in some areas but Met Eireann has warned that conditions are unlikely to improve today.
In Cork, Morrisons Island, Lavitts Quay, Union Quay, Father Matthew Quay are all reported to be impassable due to flooding. Only one lane of South Mall is currently passable, said AA Roadwatch.
