Flextronics books loss on back of declining revenues

The Irish operation of the Singaporean electronics manufacturing services provider Flextronics booked a loss last year on the back of declining revenues.

The Irish operation of the Singaporean electronics manufacturing services provider Flextronics booked a loss last year on the back of declining revenues.

New accounts for Flextronics International Cork BV (Irish branch) revealed that it had revenues of $73.8 million (€54.3 million) in the year ending March 31, 2012. Turnover was down from $76.4 million a year earlier.

The company booked a net loss of $5.2 million for the year. This was in contrast to the $159,000 profit the company...
