Flanagans is set to open a second branch at its old Mount Merrion store

Irish owned furniture and interiors retailer Flanagan Kerins is to open its second branch in the former Flanagan’s of Mount Merrion store on Deerpark Road in Mount Merrion in south Co Dublin.

The Art Deco-style building was built in 1955 to the designs of RH Dowling for the O’Grady family who owned the Stella Cinema in Rathmines. The building operated as a cinema until it closed in 1976 when Peter Flanagan opened it...
