When I was growing up, my dad owned gyms and was a body builder. I'd always known about weight training, but I didn't get involved myself until I got older.

I was a dancer from the age of eight up until 18. I did ballet, modern and contemporary dance.

They gave me a bar bell and told me to put it over my head, and that was my first interaction with weightlifting.
