First week sales of Roy Keane's new memoir, ghostwritten by Roddy Doyle, have topped the 10,000 mark in Ireland, according to Nielsen Bookscan.

First week sales of Roy Keane's new memoir, ghostwritten by Roddy Doyle, have topped the 10,000 mark in Ireland, according to Nielsen Bookscan, which compiles the official book charts for the publishing industry.

The Second Half sold 10,742 copies in Ireland from Thursday to Sunday, hitting the No. 1 spot in the Irish charts, and trouncing its nearest competitor, Gillian Flynn's novel Gone Girl, now a Hollywood hit starring Ben Affleck, which sold just 1,827 copies in comparison.
