First ever World Chip Championship to take place in Limerick
The contest is open to professional cooks who can make anything from traditional chips to pulled pork fries, baked mozzarella sticks, kale and even turnip fries.
The first ever World Chip Championships will take place in Limerick on the June bank holiday weekend.
There will be two rounds in the contest, which is open to professional cooks who can make anything from traditional chips to pulled pork fries, baked mozzarella sticks, kale and even turnip fries.
The judging panel includes Nick Munier, restaurant manager and co-presenter of MasterChef Ireland, and celebrity chef and owner of The Mustard Seed Daniel Mullane.
