Customers who call the telephone number listed on advertisements for First Active's new 100 per cent mortgages will reach call-centre operators rather than bank officials.

The bank has entered into a deal with call centre operator Conduit, which manages the 11850 directory enquiry number, to handle some calls from customers seeking information about the mortgages.
