First Active has been forced by the Financial Regulator to contact almost 200 customers offer ing them refunds on mortgage payments and the option of changing to a new loan product.

First Active has been forced by the Financial Regulator to contact almost 200 customers offer ing them refunds on mortgage payments and the option of changing to a new loan product.

The regulator stepped in because it was unhappy with information given by First Active to customers who were coming to the end of a fixed rate mortgage term about the options open to them.
