A number of international groups are in the running to win the large regional contracts for installing Ireland's water metering service after qualifying for the tender process.

A number of international groups are in the running to win the large regional contracts for installing Ireland's water metering service after qualifying for the tender process. It is understood that the requirements for reaching this stage included a minimum turnover of €100 million, which resulted in a number of Irish business pairing up with international engineering and utility companies.
