Fine Gael has been given almost €880,000 in taxpayers' funds to pay for refurbishment of its party headquarters.

Fine Gael has been given almost €880,000 in taxpayers' funds to pay for refurbishment of its party headquarters despite the concerns of the electoral watchdog.

This included €19,843 on furniture, €66,800 on upgrading doors and windows and €72,000 on renovating the roof and car park, with the remainder going on general building costs.
