Foraging remains a popular pastime in the wild - just be careful what you nibble on your travels

The Forager Handbook, Miles Irving (2009), and the classic Food For Free, Richard Mabey (reprinted 2007), are both good, but need to be used in conjunction with field guides to provide sure plant identification before consuming any species.
