The eagerly-awaited Hardy Bucks movie hit Irish screens this weekend.

Eighteen months into his tenure as the head of An Bord Scannán/The Irish Film Board (IFB), former entertainment lawyer James Hickey is less cautious about setting his stall out.

"Until you fit in first, there's no point in coming in with an agenda wanting to make changes; I don't think it's the way to bring people with you and get the best out of what already exists," said Hickey.
