Denzel Washington in Flight.

Reviewed: Flight

**Rating:** 3/5

We first meet Denzel Washington's airline pilot in **Flight**, Whip Whitaker, lying face down on a cheap Florida hotel bed, surrounded by empty bottles, unsnorted lines of cocaine and an undressed flight attendant (Nadine Velazquez). After a fortifying swig of whiskey and some more cocaine, Whitaker puts on his uniform and makes his way to the airport, where he'll take command of a local hour-long flight to the city of Atlanta.
