A feature-length documentary about the death of 11 climbers, including Limerick man Ger McDonnell, on K2 four years ago was premiered at the London Film Festival last week.

The Dublin and Kerry-based film makers behind The Summit hope it will be released on Irish screens early next year. The Summit was produced by Image Now Films and Pat Falvey Productions with the consent of the McDonnell family.
