The US Department of Labor is expected to report today that employers added about 205,000 jobs in March, analysts expect.

That follows an increase of 227,000 the previous month and would be the fourth-straight month of payroll gains above 200,000. The last time employment advanced at a similar pace for as many months was in late 1999 to early 2000.

Economists also expect the unemployment rate to hold at a three-year low of 8.3 percent, according to a Bloomberg survey.
