Fidelity has an eye on Ireland

Simon Clark, head of venture capital firm Fidelity Growth Partners Europe, wants to expand his firm’s presence in the Irish market without delay

Fidelity Growth Partners, one of Europe’s biggest venture capital firms, has a new £100 million (€116 million) fund and has its eye on Ireland as one of the prime destinations for investment.

Simon Clark, managing partner of Fidelity Growth Partners Europe, said that the firm had already made several successful investments in Irish technology companies and was open to expanding its presence in Ireland.
