Fiat to drop its FAI sponsorship deal

The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) is about to lose a major sponsor.

Fiat is pulling out of FAI sponsorship, a deal worth €1 million yearly, according to industry sources.

Part of the Fiat sponsorship deal involved the car company supplying a fleet of cars for FAI staff. Mars pulled out its FAI sponsorship last year, but the FAI said it was looking for new sponsors.
