Fianna Fáil was braced for losses in Limerick last night after a huge decline in support for the party in city and county elections.

Fianna Fáil was braced for losses in Limerick last night after a huge decline in support for the party in city and county elections.

The party’s tally of seats may drop to just one in the city, following a poor showing in the city council elections. Since 2004, Fianna Fáil has held two seats on the Limerick City Council, one in Limerick City East and one in Limerick City North.
