Hundreds of thousands of households in Ireland will receive forms inviting them to join Fianna Fáil in the coming weeks.

The campaign is part of a recruitment drive aimed at boosting the party's flagging membership. The party hopes to add at least 10,000 new members over the next six months. The initiative is part of a drive to re-ignite the party in advance of the general election, expected to be held in two years.
