Fine Gael is preparing a list of amendments to the National Asset Management Agency (Nama) Bill to be tabled at the Dail committee stage.

Richard Bruton, the party’s finance spokesman, said the government had ‘‘won on the issue of principle’’, but added that Fine Gael now had to fight on over 100 sections of the bill. The second stage of the Dail debate on Nama will resume on October 6 after the Lisbon Treaty referendum....
