FF locked in slow downward spiral

The latest tracking poll from The Sunday Business Post and Red C suggests that the post-budget decline in support for Fianna Fail that was evident last month was not a one-off.

Instead, it now looks like a downward trend that will concern the party as we move closer to a general election. In this poll, Fianna Fail’s share of the first preference vote falls a further 2 per cent, down from 38 per cent last month to 36 per cent in March.

This is the kind of territory that the party was in for much of last year, and would result in significant losses for the party...
