Fastnet plugs Moroccan well it says provided "valuable information"

Irish oil and gas explorer Fastnet has said that it will plug and abandon its latest exploration well in the Foum Assaka Offshore block in Morocco.

Irish oil and gas explorer Fastnet has said that it will plug and abandon its latest exploration well in the Foum Assaka Offshore block in Morocco.

The FA-1 well had reached a total depth of 3,830 meters but failed to encounter commercial hydrocarbons, the company said in a statement. The well is the first in a series of play-opening wells that the company said is “designed to unlock” the Agadir Basin, the company said.
