The best of young design talent in Ireland steps up to the catwalk at the Goldenegg Fashion Innovation Awards, writes Lisa Brady.
Fashion and innovation are a natural match. However, it can be difficult for young designers to get a foothold in the industry that enables them to nurture that creativity.
Solving this conundrum is at the heart of The Goldenegg Fashion Innovation Awards in Galway. The brainchild of Patricia McCrossan, the awards have grown year-on-year since 2010 and are seen as a prestigious platform that give visibility, support and a voice to young design talent throughout Ireland.
