Farmland yields 50 per cent of €2.8m at auction

A mix of farmers and developers bought lands in north Co Dublin, Meath and Dundalk, writes Donal Buckley.

More than €2.8 million was generated from the sale of nine properties across Dublin, Cork, Drogheda, Wexford and Galway which featured in auctions last week.

Developers and farmers were among the attendance when three lots of land in the greater Dublin area went for auction on Tuesday and achieved more than €1.4 million.
