Family-run concrete company’s accumulated profit hits €71m

Condron Concrete, a family business based in Tullamore in Co Offaly, made a pre-tax profit of €5.9million last year, bringing its accumulated profit to more than €71 million.

The company, which makes concrete pipes and tiles, had turnover of €26.2 million in the financial year to the end of April 2005. In the previous year, it had turnover of €26.7 million and made a pre-tax profit of almost €6.2 million.
