Last minute preparations are under way at several key sites that Queen Elizabeth will visit this week.
The first state visit of a sitting British monarch in a century begins on Tuesday when the queen and her security entourage fly into the army airbase of Baldonnell.
During her four-day stay she will visit Irish landmarks such as Trinity College, the Rock of Cashel, Croke Park and St James’s Gate Guinness brewery.
