Factory prices rose 2.4% in year to December

Manufacturing prices increased by an annual 2.4 per cent in December after a month-on-month rise of 0.5 per cent, according to the Central Statistics Office.

Manufacturing prices increased by an annual 2.4 per cent in December after a month-on-month rise of 0.5 per cent, according to the Central Statistics Office.

In November the increase was 1.9 per cent in the year.

In the month, the price index for export sales increased by 0.5 per cent while the index for home sales increased by 0.2 per cent.
