Getting to grips with the commercial reality of business straight out of college is proving a valuable lesson for industrial designer Edward McElroy.

McElroy and his business partners, Mariano di Muro and Zafer Balbous, have just launched the beta version of Social Arcade, an online service that allows companies to make apps, games and quizzes for Facebook and the web without the need for programming.
