External review deferred not abandoned, insists IMO

The Irish Medical Organisation (IMO) has moved to reassure doctors that the external review into the organisation has been parked, but not abandoned.

In correspondence to members, IMO president Dr Matt Saddlier, said the IMO ruling council decided that the union should focus on ensuring the hours worked by doctors are reduced and on the landmark legal case being taken by GP members.
