Developer Jerry Conlon has sought planning permission for an extension to the Central Hotel on Exchequer Street in Dublin 2, writes Neil Callanan.

The developer is planning to demolish a two-storey office building at 12 Dame Court and replace it with a five-storey building with retail use on the ground and mezzanine floors. The first, second and third floors would then be used for a staff dining room, changing rooms and six additional bedrooms.
