Executive market picks up

Senior roles are being filled again, as there seems to be a minor thaw in executive placement, writes Dermot Corrigan

There are early signs of an upturn in executive recruitment , as companies begin to lift the high-level hiring bans of the past 18 months.

Mark O’Donnell, president of the Executive Selection Consultancies Association (ESCA), said some ESCA members were reporting a pick-up in business - albeit from a very low base.
