The consumer price index would like to wish you a Happy Christmas. Just in time for the holiday, new figures from the Central Statistics office show that inflation in Ireland remains subdued. And for subdued', read virtually zero'. Prices rose just 0.3 per cent in the year to the end of November - a slight increase over October's 0.1 per cent, but barely noticeable.
