Nama's Florida deal goes south

Nama is attempting to sell a 15-acre site at Sarasota Quay, Florida.

It is back to the drawing board for Nama in its attempts to offload Sarasota Quay, a huge waterside site in Florida in the United States.

Nama had hoped to flog the 15-acre site earlier this year, and had apparently agreed terms with GreenPointe Holdings, a Florida company controlled by the developer Ed Burr. Alas, we hear the sale has fallen through, leaving the state's mammoth bad bank still in possession of another boom time...
