Everything rosy in The Garden for Hoban

Healthcare entrepreneur Fergus Hoban is opening the doors today on his latest project, a multimillion-euro public garden called The Garden, in Ballintubbert, Co Laois.

The Garden is to be opened at noon today by the Minister for Arts and Heritage, Jimmy Deenihan, and Redmond O’Donoghue, chairman of Fáilte Ireland. Hoban, who is best-known for his involvement in the Unicare pharmacy chain, purchased Ballintubbert in 1999 with the express intention of creating The Garden.
