EU's Rehn sees economy "turning the tide"

EU Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs Olli Rehn said he expected the EU economy to be "turning the tide in the coming months".

EU Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs Olli Rehn said he expected the EU economy to be "turning the tide in the coming months".

At a conference in Paris he said the actions of the European Central Bank had averted a credit crunch and tensions had eased on bond markets because of actions by Italy and Spain to boost confidence.
