Car sales across Europe have fallen the most in two years in the month of September.

Car sales across Europe have fallen the most in two years in the month of September.

Registrations in the month dropped 11 per cent to 1.13 million vehicles, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers Association.

Renault and Fiat suffered the steepest declines. Renault's European sales fell 29 per cent.
