The euro may weaken to match its lowest level since September 2010 against the pound, according to analysis by Commerzbank AG.

The euro may weaken to match its lowest level since September 2010 against the pound, according to analysis by Commerzbank AG.

In an e-mailed note to clients, a Commerzbank strategist said the euro looked set to decline against the pound, after failing to rise above a key level of so-called resistance.

The note to clients said that the longer-term outlook for the euro “will remain bearish”.
