The FAI's estimated €46 million debt on the Aviva Stadium will benefit from a potential €10 million windfall at the European Championships in Poland next summer.

Giovanni Trapattoni's team have already earned €8 million for the FAI just by qualifying to play against Croatia, Spain and Italy in Posnan and Gdansk in June, with another €3 million due from sponsorship deals.
