Euro area retail trade up slightly in June

The seasonally adjusted volume of retail trade was up 0.4 per cent in the euro area in June, new figures from Eurostat have shown.

The seasonally adjusted volume of retail trade was up 0.4 per cent in the euro area in June, new figures from Eurostat have shown.

In the entire EU28 retail trade was up 0.3 per cent.

The increase in the euro zone was due primarily to rises in food, drinks and tobacco, Eurostat said.
