EU car sales rise for first time in 19 months

European car sales have risen for the first time in 19 months, according to the Brussels-based European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association, or ACEA.

European car sales have risen for the first time in 19 months, according to the Brussels-based European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association, or ACEA.

Registrations in April increased by 1.8 percent to 1.08 million cars from 1.06 million cars a year earlier.

Four-month sales fell seven percent to 4.18 million vehicles.
