The European Commission has announced a series of “exceptional support measures” for EU producers to help growers affected by the Russian ban on imports of fruit and vegetables.

The European Commission said it would not hesitate to implement further measures, if necessary.

The European Commission has announced a series of “exceptional support measures” for EU producers to help growers affected by the Russian ban on imports of fruit and vegetables.

The products covered by the measures are are in full season, most with no storage options and no immediate alternative market available.
