The ESB has finalised a €450 million deal to sell six sites to Spanish energy company Endesa.

The ESB has finalised a €450 million deal to sell six sites to Spanish energy company Endesa. With a combined capacity of 1,068MW, the sites account for 20 per cent of the ESB’s total output in Ireland.

They include two power stations in Tolbert, North Kerry, and Great Island in Wexford; two licensed sites in Lainsborough, Co Roscommon and Shannon Bridge in Offaly...
