Eplixo bids to raise €1.5m for online work venture

Gerry Brandon, the founder of pharmaceutical firm Alltracel, is raising seven-figure funding for a new venture that combines social networking with collaborative working online.

Gerry Brandon, the founder of pharmaceutical firm Alltracel, is raising seven-figure funding for a new venture that combines social networking with collaborative working online.

Brandon has spent two years working on Eplixo, which has development teams in Ireland, India, Poland and Slovenia. He has spent about €500,000 to date, and now hopes to raise between €1 million and €1.5 million.
