Irish taxpayers could be paying more than €100 a month for wind power, according to energy experts commissioned by anti-pylons group, ReThink Pylons.

Speaking to The Sunday Business Post, energy experts Dr Anthony White and Malcolm Brown said that an “all wind” strategy that was devised in 2007 to meet the 2020 climate change targets could lead to instability in the Irish energy grids and increase reserve generation costs.
