Emuse Technologies, the interactive TV software firm, hopes to win major contracts over the next year after signing a ‘‘landmark deal’’ with ITV, according to the firm’s chief executive.

Patrick Rainsford said the five-year deal with ITV would provide a ‘‘huge boost in revenue and profile’’ for the company and open up new opportunities in Europe, the US and Australia.
